Hot Sauce Calamari is truly a unique Asian dish. Found in many of the Chinese seafood stalls in Singapore, it is a tangy and spicy dish to play with your tastebuds. |

- 2 large calamari ( clean and sliced )
- 1 lemon grass ( sliced )
- 2 lime ( squeezed )
- 2 tbl of olive oil
- 1 tbl of dark soy sauce
- 1/2 tps of sugar
- Parsley for garnishing
- 1/2 cup of water

Spices |
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 red chilli

Directions |

Heat up oil, add in the lemon grass and stir fry till fragrant for 1 minute. Pour in the grounded spices and stir fry for another 2-3 minutes. |

Add in the sliced calamari and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add in the dark soy sauce and sugar and cover lid for 1-2 minutes.. |

Pour in the water, squeeze in the lime and stir fry all together. Garnish with parsley. Serve |

| |
You can remove the lime seeds from the dish to prevent bitterness in the mouth.
