French Beans with Meat is a dish frequently whipped up in my kitchen. Easy to prepare and cook, it is my dad's favourite. To him, long beans provide that crunch to the dish while the meat adds to the flavour. A simple and light delicacy. |

- 400 grams French beans / snow peas / long beans
- 100 grams of meat, sliced ( chicken, beef .... )
- 4 dried chillies
- 100 grams shitake mushrooms, sliced

Spices |
- 2 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce ( optional )

Heat the pan with the olive oil. Stir fry the meat and shitake mushrooms. |

Next add in the ginger, sugar and sesame oil. |

Lastly, add in the French beans. For a more meaty taste, add in 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce. |

Certain spices like the sugar, oyster sauce can be left out for a clearer and healthier dish.
